Johnder is a bright and energetic fifteen year old who is in the 7th grade in our BGM High School. He lives in the village of Gwovo near Galette Chambon. Every day, he and several classmates walk together to school a little over two hours. They had to switch to the BGM School because the school in their village closed due to economic difficulties and dangers in their village. Johnder lives with his parents and two brothers. When he switched schools, his parents sacrificed a lot to be able to pay his tuition, but they are hoping that he will get a sponsor to continue because it is very hard to make money right now in their country. Johnder enjoys studying, playing soccer, and working around the house. His favorite subject in school is Social Studies. When he grows up, he wants to become a doctor.
