Roseskermine is a bright and determined 15-year-old student in the ninth grade at BGM High School. She lives in the village of Bwa Blan with her parents and her two brothers. While both of her brothers have sponsors, Roseskermine is still waiting for someone to invest in her future. Together, the three siblings walk 45 minutes to school each day, grateful for the opportunity to learn.

Roseskermine’s parents work hard as village vendors, selling household cleaning supplies such as laundry soap, dishwashing products, and other everyday essentials. Providing for their family has become increasingly difficult because they must travel to a distributor to restock their supplies. The journey is both dangerous and expensive, as they are forced to pay large illegal taxes at road checkpoints, making it challenging to earn enough income to cover Roseskermine’s school tuition.

One of Roseskermine’s greatest passions is participating in a lecture group called CLPGACH. Members of the group read books about Haiti’s history and culture before gathering each month to discuss what they have learned. Roseskermine enjoys helping lead these discussions and has become an excellent public speaker. She believes these experiences are preparing her to become a knowledgeable and responsible citizen who can make a positive difference in her community.

Her favorite subject in school is citizenship because she enjoys learning about leadership, responsibility, and serving others. When she grows up, Roseskermine hopes to become a nurse so she can care for people in need and improve the health of her community.

By sponsoring Roseskermine, you will help ensure she can continue her education and pursue the dream God has placed on her heart. Your support will provide hope, opportunity, and the chance for this remarkable young woman to become a future leader and compassionate caregiver in Haiti.
