Miscaylove is an eight-year-old girl in the third grade at Maranatha School. She lives in the village of Bonet with her parents, one sister, and two brothers. Each school day, she walks 45 minutes to an hour to school with a group of children from her village, accompanied by a parent for safety.

Her father works as a moto tap-tap driver, using his motorcycle as a taxi to transport people from place to place for a small fee. This provides income for the family, but it is often just enough to meet their daily needs.

At home, Miscaylove is a tremendous help to her mother. She enjoys doing household chores such as cleaning, washing dishes and clothes, fetching water, and helping prepare meals. She is especially caring toward her younger siblings, helping them get ready for school each morning and assisting with their daily needs. She is truly a dependable helper and a great blessing to her family.

In school, Miscaylove’s favorite subject is mathematics. She works hard in her studies and dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher one day so she can help young children learn and grow.
