Wender is a 2nd grader at BGM Primary School. He is a little behind in school because his parents have not been able to afford to send him to school. However, this year, we hope to find Wender a sponsor so that he no longer has to sit out of school because of financial difficulty. He lives with his parent, two sisters, and one brother. They do not have a consistent source of income. The only way Wender can continue to go to school is if he has a sponsor. Wender says that his favorite subject is mathematics and he enjoys studying his lessons, playing with friends, going to church with his family, and working in the garden to help his father when he cannot work. When he grows up, he wants to become a teacher.
