Guervenson is a bright nine year old  BGM’s Maranatha School. He lives with his mother, aunt, four sisters, three brothers, and five cousins. All fifteen people in his household live in one very small, two-room house. His mother tries to make a little money to support the family by selling goods as a vendor, but she does not make enough to support such a large family. They are so very thankful that the children in the family have been able to get sponsors so that they can at least get one hot meal a day at school. Guervenson is also very thankful that he is able to go to school and learn. He knows that he would not be able to go to school if he didn’t have a sponsor. When he grows up, he wants to become a doctor.
