Erlens’ parents are dedicated gardeners who work in a local garden and travel to the market to sell their produce to support their six children. Since he was a baby, Erlens has had to accompany them to these workspaces. However, the market has become increasingly dangerous for a small child. With Erlens in school with his siblings, his parents can work to provide for their family without putting their children in danger and know that they are safe at school getting a good education and a daily hot meal.
