RITCHY is a driven and responsible 18-year-old student currently in NS3 (12th grade) at BGM High School. He is nearing the final stage of his education, with just one year remaining—Philo. Successfully completing Philo requires passing a national exam and is equivalent to earning an associate-level degree, opening doors to higher education or meaningful career opportunities. Richy is determined to finish strong and pursue his dream of becoming an attorney.

He lives with his parents, two sisters, and one brother. His family works hard as livestock vendors in the local market, raising and selling cows, goats, and pigs. Richy actively helps his father care for the animals and contributes to growing the family business. However, their work has become increasingly difficult due to the dangers of traveling to market and the high fees imposed at checkpoints along the way, making it challenging to maintain a stable income.

Despite these hardships, Richy’s parents have remained committed to supporting his education through graduation. They hope to find a sponsor for Richy so that the financial burden can be eased, allowing them to also send his siblings to school. In Haiti, it is common for families to alternate which children attend school due to limited resources, and sponsorship would help create more opportunities for the entire family.

Richy’s favorite subject is biology, and he is passionate about building a future where he can make a difference as an attorney. With sponsorship, he will be able to complete his education and take an important step toward achieving his goals while helping uplift his family and community.
