JOOLY is an ambitious and resilient 18-year-old student currently enrolled in NS3 (12th grade) at BGM High School. She is approaching an important milestone in her education, with just one more year remaining—her final year, known as Philo. Completing Philo is a significant achievement, comparable to earning an associate-level qualification, and opens the door to meaningful employment opportunities or continued studies at the college level.

Jooly lives with her parents, three sisters, and one brother. Her parents work as vendors in the local market, striving daily to provide for their family. However, in Haiti’s current climate, this work has become increasingly difficult and dangerous. Traveling to market involves navigating unsafe roads and paying high, unofficial fees at checkpoints, making it challenging for the family to earn a stable income and support their children’s education.

Despite these challenges, Jooly remains focused and hopeful about her future. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and attending church with her family, where she actively participates in the women’s choir. Her favorite subject in school is Spanish, and she dreams of becoming an accountant one day.

Sponsorship for Jooly would provide critical support during this final stage of her education, allowing her to complete her studies and pursue her goals with confidence. With encouragement and opportunity, she has the determination to build a better future for herself and contribute positively to her community.
