Johnson is a loving and polite eleven year old from the village of Galette Chambon who lives with his father, two sisters, and one brother. His brother is a farmer and works hard in the garden every day to produce crops that he can sell at market. The past few years have been a tremendous struggle for this family because of the gangs that have caused markets to competely shut down. Johnson’s father has tried desperatly to keep his kids in school, but two years ago he had to take them all out because he could not afford the tuition anymore. Consequently, Johnson is very behind in school. If he is able to start b ack this year, he will be int he second grade. Johnson enjoys playing soccer with friends studying lessons, sleeping, and going to the garden with is his father. His favorite subject in school is mathematics. When he grows up, he wants to become an engineer.
