Loovens is a happy twelve year old boy from the village of Galette Chambon who lives with his parents, two sisters, and one brother. His parents are vendors in the local market, but they have not been able to sell much lately due to the gang being in the village. The family struggles very much to put food on the table. They were able to start paying tuition for Loovens at the beginning of the school year, but they were not able to continue after December because of their lack of income. If Loovens doesn’t find a sponsor by September, he won’t be able to continue in school. Loovens enjoying telling stories, playing with friends, and working in the family garden.
