Lorakina is a 2nd grader at our BGM Primary School. She lives with her parents, two sisters, and three brothers in the village of Galette Chambon. She loves to play with friends, study school lessons, go to church, and help her mother with chores around the house. Lorakina is happy that she has been able to go to the new school this year because she is already two years behind in school because her parents could not afford to send her. This year, because BGM opened a new school, Lorakina was allowed to attend school while waiting for a sponsor. She prays every day that she will find a sponsor so she can continue working towards her dream of one day becoming a math teacher.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
