Sonder is a precious little four year old who lives in the village of Galette Chambon. He has one sister and two brothers. Both of his brothers are sponsored. He lives with his mother and father, but they have no source of income besides occasionally share cropping. His favorite things to do are play with friends and brothers, go help in the garden, go to church, and let his brothers help him learn to read. When he grows up he wants to become a policeman.
