Jamesley is sixteen year old who is in the third grade in our BGM Primary School. He is behind in school because his parents could not afford to send him to school for several years. He lives with his parents, two sisters, and two brothers. His parents are farmers who take their produce to market to sell to provide for their family. They make decent money, but not enough to put their children in school. They recognize the need to have their children in school in order to rise above their circumstances of poverty. However, they need sponsors to help them pay tuition. Jamesley is determined to catch up in school and graduate. Jamesley enjoys working in the garden with his father when he is not in school. His favorite subjects are mathematics and Kreyol. When he grows up, she wants to become a doctor.
