WISLANDE is a timid and bright little three year old that is in the K1 class at BGM’s Maranatha Preschool. She lives with her mother and father in the village of Galette Chambon. She does not have any siblings yet. Her father is a block mason that works on construction and her mother stays at home with her. Her mother would like to start a business as a vendor to help with the family income because there has not been a whole lot of work available to her father lately, and the family has had to go many days without food. If Wislande could be in school, her mother could sell things in market and Wislande could get a good meal at school every day. Wislande is so excited about learning to write and read. Her favorite things to do are play with her friends, practice her writing, sleep, and eat. When she grows up, she wants to become a nurse.
