Marie Princess Joudelande D.

Joulande is a shy 11 year-old who lives in the Hope Center Village with her mother and aunt and one brother. Her mother and aunt are vendors in the local market. They recently moved to Hope Center Village in order to escape the dangers in Port-au-Prince. However, about three months after they moved to the village, the gang attacked Galette Chambon. This has made it almost impossible to make any money to support the family. Joulande enjoys going to school, but she will not be able to continue if she doesn’t have a sponsor. Joulande enjoys playing with her friends, doing chores around the house, going to church, and studying lessons. Her favorite subject is French. When she grows up, she would like to study cosmetology.
