Jeffny is a bright 13-year-old student in the seventh grade at BGM High School. She lives in the village of Galette Chambon with her parents, five sisters, and four brothers. Despite the challenges of raising such a large family, her parents work hard as vendors, selling goods within their village. In the past, they traveled to the local market, but increasing costs, including illegal road taxes and higher wholesale prices, have made it much more difficult to earn enough income to support their family.
Jeffny’s parents were thrilled that she would be entering the seventh grade and have always hoped she would be able to complete high school. However, with their income continuing to shrink, they are uncertain whether they will be able to afford tuition for Jeffny and her siblings next year. Without sponsorship, her education could be interrupted.
Jeffny loves learning and spends much of her free time studying. Spanish is her favorite subject because she knows that speaking both French and Spanish will open many opportunities on the island of Hispaniola, where both languages are widely spoken. She dreams of becoming a nurse one day so she can care for others and make a difference in her community.
Through sponsorship, Jeffny can continue her education and move one step closer to achieving her dream of serving others as a nurse.
If you’d like, I can also make this sound a little more personal and emotionally engaging for potential sponsors while keeping it authentic.
