Meet Lea – a sweet three-year-old in the K1 class at BGM Primary. She lives in Hope Center Village with her mother, four brothers, and one sister. Lea’s mother works hard as a vendor in the local market, but it is difficult for her to make ends meet since buying products has become so expensive and it is not always safe for her to go alone. Lea’s siblings are already sponsored, which has been a great help to the family since it ensures they receive lunch at school each day. However, Lea cannot attend school without a sponsor. Having a sponsor would not only allow Lea to start school, but it would also free her mother to focus on providing for the family.
Lea loves playing with her friends, and at school she especially looks forward to singing and dancing. She already dreams of one day becoming a nurse so she can help others.
