Wensley is a kind and compassionate ten year old who comes from the village of Boucandrice which is up in the mountains above Galette Chambon. His is one of a large group of young people who leave their village at 4 in the morning walking to school in Galette Chambon. He lives with his parents, three sisters, and one brother. His parents grow a pretty large garden and then try to sell its produce in the local market. Their income has suffered tremendously this year as gang activity in Galette Chambon has made it difficult to take their produce to market. Wensley enjoys playing with friends, studying, and going to church. His favorite subject is Social Studies and when he grows up, he wants to become a professor.
