Foodjy V.

Foodjy is a precious six year old at BGM Preschool. He has one brother who is also seeking a sponsor. He lives with his parents in Galette Chambon. His father lays tile on construction projects, but with the latest danger increasing in the village, his father has not had any contracts for work in a very long time. It has been hard to continue to live in the village, but Peedjy’s parents are determined to keep their home and way of life for as long as they can. Peedjy loves to play with friends, sing, and learn stories from the Bible at church. His favorite subject is math and he loves counting things. Peedjy’s parents pray daily that their boys find sponsors because school is the only good thing still going on in the village and they want their boys to be educated. Peedjy’s father said, “Lekol BGM se yon gwo limine nan vilaj la kounyea.” (BGM Schools are a bright light in a very dark place right now.)
