Her grandmother is a farmer and share cropper in the village. Her mother died two years ago and her father moved to Brazil. Chamaelle enjoys helping her grandmother in the garden, cleaning house, and studying lessons. She is behind in school by about two years because her grandmother could not afford to send her to school. She is so excited about going to BGM Preschool.
