Wenley is a very intelligent thirteen year old who has been completely self taught since he was six years old. He lives with his grandmother and little brother in the village of Dedal near Galette Chambon. His grandmother is unable to make much money besides the few items she sells at market each week. In the past, she has had to take Wenley and his brother, Jouvens, to market with her because she could not afford to pay for school, but it is very dangerous for children to go to the marketplace. She heard about the BGM Schools in Galette Chambon and decided she would enter her grandsons into the sponsorship program and seek a sponsor so that they could go to school and she could go to market without endangering their lives. Wenley tested on the 4th grade level at Maranatha because he has always studied his friends’ school books and taught himself to read, so he is able to enter school only 2 years behind. His grandmother really wants him to go to school before he gets any farther behind. Wenley enjoys playing with friends, eating, sleeping, and studying lessons, going to church, and working in the garden. His favorite thing to study is Mathematics. When he grows up, he wants to become a mason and study engineering.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
