Dophine is a quiet and well-mannered ten year old who Iives with his grandmother in Hope Center Village. He has one brother and two sisters who live with their mother and go to school in Delmas. His mother cannot afford to send all three of her children to school because she doesn’t have a source of income. She didn’t want Dophine to get behind in school, so she took him to live with his grandmother hoping to get him a sponsorship at BGM School. Dophine loves to learn and study his lessons. He also loves to play soccer and practice mathematics. He isn’t sure what he wants to be when he grows up, but he thinks it might be cool to be a doctor. He is just happy to have friends and a chance to go to school.
