Edeline is a bright seventeen year old who just recently passed up to our BGM High School. She lost her sponsorship, however, because she did not get registered in time before school started. She went to another school last year, but it was so expensive that she could not continue. She wants to get back into BGM High school, but she must have a sponsor before she can go. She desperately wants a sponsor. She lives in Galette Chambon with her parents who are farmers and her two brothers. Edeline loves to cook and she loves to study French. She wants to be a nurse one day. She is excited about being in the BGM sponsorship program because that means she no longer has to take turns with her brothers going to school. She would be almost finished with school if they had not had to take turns going to school because their parents could not afford to send all of them to school at once. Edeline is excited about school though, and she is confident that one day she will become a nurse and be able to help support her family.
