is a lively little three year old who lives in the Dalgro area of Galette Chambon. She lives with her grandmother because her mother was a single mom who died shortly after giving birth to Samayou. Her grandmother is a vendor at market and times have been very hard due to growing violence in their country and rising food prices. Her grandmother is very thankful that the BGM Principal has let Samayou go to preshool at BGM Primary because getting a hot meal there every day is the only way she has survived. Samayou loves to play with friends and color. She hopes to be an artist one day! She enjoys hanging out with her grandmother and helping her wash clothes. Samayou desperately needs a sponsor so that she can stay in school and learn and eat every day. Without school, she is sure to develop malnutrition and die.
