WANCHINA is a beautiful thirteen year old from the village of Galette Chambon. She has two brothers and one sister andn they live with thier mother who is a vendor in the local market. She struggles to provide for her three children with the economy like it is right now. Wanchina had to sit out of school last year because she couldn’t afford the tuition. She wants desperately to be able to return to school because she is so smart and loves school. If she is able to start back, she would be in the 8th grade. Wanchina enjoys hanging out with friends, studying school lessons, going to church, eating and sleeping. Her favorite subject in school is French and when she grows up, she wants to become a nurse.
