Bianka is a lively little five year old who lives with her parents and two brothers in the village of Galette Chambon. Her parents are vendors in the local market selling pasta and dried beans. Making a living has become very difficult these days with the current economy and chaos in the country. They are hoping that Bianka can get a sponsor to go to school so that she can start her education on time and they can try going to different markets that might help them to sell more. Bianka enjoys working with her parents around the house and going to church. She looks forward to learning to speak French in school. When she grows up, she wants to become a nurse.
