Lourdinia is a happy little five-year-old from the village of Gwo Balanse. She is in the K2 class at our BGM preschool. She lives with her parents and three sisters. Her parents are vendors in the local market. With the latest difficulties in their country, they have found it very hard to make money to support their family. If Lourdinia is going to continue school, she is going to have to have a sponsor. Lourdinia prays every day that she will get a sponsor because she loves going to school. Lourdinia also enjoys playing with friends and going to church. Her favorite subject in school is writing. Lourdinia is so excited that she has learned how to write her name. When she grows up, she would like to become a nurse.
