DAPHCCA is an adorable thirteen year old girl who lives in the area of Place Charles in Galette Chambon. She lives with her mother, two sisters, and four brothers. Her mother works hard to support her family by selling things in the local market. Because the economy has tanked in recent years due to the upheaval in the country, it has been an extreme struggle to put food on the table. Daphcca’s mother desperately needs to keep her kids in school not only to get an education, but so that they can eat every day. Otherwise, they would go days without food. Daphcca needs a sponsor very much. She has already missed several years due to poverty and is behind, but she is smart and can catch up if she is given a chance. Daphcca enjoys playing with friends, working around the house, and studying her lessons. Her favorite subject is mathematics, and when she grows up she wants to become a nurse.
