His grandmother tries to sell things as a vendor at market, but her income is not enough to support her grandchildren and send them to school. She wants desperately to be able to send her grandsons to school because she knows that they won’t have any future otherwise, but most days she can’t even put food on the table. If Simeon was in school, he would not only be getting a good education, but he would also be eating every day, and that would be such a blessing to him and his grandmother. Simeon enjoys playing soccer with friends, working on the family garden, and studying lessons. His favorite subject is mathematics. When he grows up he wants to become an engineer.
