His parents are farmers and they want him to go to school, but they cannot afford to pay the tuition.They do not want him to get behind in school and they want him to learn to read and write. Neither of his parents ever went to school, and they believe that their poverty is because they did not get an education. They want better for their son but they know they can’t provide it for him. They pray daily that their son finds a sponsor this year. Woostergens enjoys playing with is friends, eating, sleeping, and helping his dad in the garden.
