Naika is an 18 year old young lady from the village of Gwo Balanse near Galette Chambon. She lives with her mother and two brothers. Her mother tries to sell some things in market to make a little money, but it is barely enough to support the family. Naika enjoys cleaning the house and washing clothes, going to church, and studying. She also enjoys eating! She is thankful that she gets to eat every day at school and she is praying that she can find a sponsor so that she can continue going to school and eventually realize her dream of becoming a nurse. She wants to be able to help people who are sick. Her favorite subject is Social Science.
