Sherldine is a bright and shy thirteen year old in the 7th grade at BGM High School. She lives in Galette Chambon with her aunt, three brothers, and three sisters. Sherldine’s mother died last summer in a moto accident and she had to go live with her aunt. Her aunt works in a local garden picking produce and she is allowed to sell some of it at the local market to make a little money. She does not make enough to send her own kids to school, much less her niece. Sherldine loves school, and she wants desperately to continue, but she does not want to be a financial burden on her aunt. She prays every day that she will find a sponsor to help her continue school. Her favorite subject in school is French, and when she grows up, she wants to study medicine.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
