Fedeline is a thirteen year old 4th grader at BGM Primary. She has a quiet, gentle spirit, and loves to study her lessons and work around the house. She lives with her mother, two sisters, and four brothers. Her mother doesn’t have a dependable source of income. Sometimes she is able to find work as a housekeeper washing clothes and cleaning, but with the economy being as bad as it is right now, she doesn’t find much work. Fedeline enjoys helping her mother with her siblings while her mother works because that means they will have food to eat. She is happy that she was able to pay registration and the first tuition installment at school, but it is so hard for her mother to find work that she is afraid that she will not be able to afford to pay the rest of her daughter’s tuition and then she will have to drop out of school again. This is has happened three years in a row now and Fedeline is getting behind in school. Fedeline’s favorite subject in school is Kreyol and when she grows up, she wants to go to cooking school and learn to be a cook for a restaurant.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
