Her father died last year and since that time, her mother has struggled to provide for the family. Markline has never needed a sponsor before and she was very shy about being put on the website to find a sponsor. However, if she is going to continue with school, she must have a sponsor. She loves to study and go to church and her favorite subject is French. When she grows up, she wants to become a teacher or a nurse.
