Jamesley is a a bright thirteen year old from the village of Galette Chambon who lives with his aunt, four brothers, and two sisters. His aunt took him and his siblings in after their mother died in October. She works as a vendor at market, but she does not make enough money to feed the children and send them all to school. His mother had just paid the first deposit for his school in October before she died. He has been able to go to school on that for the last few months, but his aunt needs help with a sponsorship to help pay for the rest of his school. She wants desperately for the children to be able to continue going to school, but she knows she cannot pay for it. Jamesley enjoys studying and working in the garden. His favorite subject is French, and when he grows up, he wants to be a computer specialist.

**Please note that each year, we depend on village volunteers whose understanding of the measuring process may create variations in accuracy. Often times, children do not know their age or birthday, and sometimes they measure smaller or larger because of illness. We do the best we can to give accurate updates, but there are cultural constraints that we cannot avoid. Also, these measurements were made in March of 2022. The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made. You can assume that the child will move on to the next grade up, but it is not guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding.
