Claudy Is a bright ten year old from the village of Nan Dal. He lives a long way from the school, but he gets up at 4:00 each morning to feed and water the goats, and leaves his house at 5:00 in the morning to start walking to school with other children from Nan Dal who go to the BGM Schools. Many children from his village go to the BGM School because it is the only school in the area that has a sponsorship program that allows kids from very poor families go to school through sponsorship. Claudy lives with his aunt and has no siblings. His aunt does not have a source of income at all. Claudy loves to study because the more he learns the better future he has. His favorite subject is mathematics and when he grows up, he wants to become a musician and play different instruments at his church.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
