Belson is a 2nd grader at BGM Primary School. He is a little behind in school because his parents have not been able to afford to send him to school. However, this year, we hope to find Belson a sponsor so that he no longer has to sit out of school because of financial difficulty. He lives with his parent, two sisters, and one brother. They do not have a consistent source of income. The only way Belson can continue to go to school is if he has a sponsor. Belson says that his favorite subject is mathematics and he enjoys studying his lessons, playing with friends, going to church with his family, and working in the garden to help his father when he cannot work. When he grows up, he wants to become a doctor.

We do the best we can to give accurate updates, but there are cultural constraints that we cannot avoid. Also, these measurements were made in March of 2022. The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
