Sabrina is a thirteen year old from the village of Galette Chambon who lives with her mother, three sisters, and four brothers. Sabrina’s mother does not have a job and the family relies on nearby family members to survive. In the past, Sabrina’s grandfather has been able to sell a couple of goats to be able to pay for her school and her siblings’ school, but this year, their herd of goats became I’ll and many of them died. There were no goats that were able to go to market this year. The school decided to allow Sabrina go ahead and start school in hopes of finding a sponsor. However, if she doesn’t get a sponsor by Christmas, she may not be able to continue. Sabrina loves to help with work around the house. She also enjoys studying mathematics as well as language. When she grows up, she wants to learn how to fly airplanes.
