Rosematha is a thirteen year old from the village of Baryè Bourdi In the area of Galette Chambon. She lives with her parents, two sisters, and two brothers. The family has a small food market where they try hard to make a living to support their family of six, however, food prices have increased so much that their business has suffered and they have not been able to stock as much in their store. It has made life very difficult for all of them. Rosematha’s siblings who are school age all have sponsors, but it would be a huge help to their family if Rosematha could be sponsored too. When Rosematha is not in school, she enjoys studying, eating, and working around her house. When she grows up, she wants to become a driver that drives large construction trucks and tractors in construction.
