Woodmayson is a spunky little seven year old that has a personality that will steal your heart. He used to live with his mom and three sisters in a house that BGM built in Galette Chambon, but in 2020, his mother became very sick with COVID, and they had to move in with a family member in Port au Prince so she could receive medical care. Now that his mother is better, they have returned to the village and Woodmayson’s mom is looking for a sponsor for him because she doesn’t have a job and she has no source of income. They are excited about being back in Galette Chambon so that they can attend the BGM school, but times are really hard since they have no support. They do the best they can with what they have and they pray daily for God to make a way for him to find a sponsor so that he can go to school in the Fall. Woodmayson loves to play with friends and his sister near their house. He wants to learn to speak French so that he can one day go to a university and study to become a doctor.

**Please note that each year, we depend on village volunteers whose understanding of the measuring process may create variations in accuracy. Often times, children do not know their age or birthday, and sometimes they measure smaller or larger because of illness. We do the best we can to give accurate updates, but there are cultural constraints that we cannot avoid. Also, these measurements were made in March of 2022. The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
