Danilove is a sassy little 12 year old from the village of Michel near Galette Chambon. She lives with her parents, seven sisters and 2 brothers. Her parents try to do some farming to support their family, but it is not guaranteed income. It is very hard for them to feed their family on this income much less send their children to school. Two of her sisters are sponsored, and that is the only reason that Danilove was able to attend school this year. The rest of the children in the family are not. Danilove enjoys playing with her friends and going to the gardens with her father to help him work. Her favorite subject in school is math, and when she grows up she wants to become a nurse.
