Roseberline is a happy little eight year old who loves to help her mom work around the house. She lives with her mother, sister, and two brothers in Galette Chambon. Her father died last year. Her mother does not have a source of income. Her grandparents have tried to help her pay for school in the past, but it is very hard for them, and they are getting too old to work. Robernite wants a sponsor really bad because she doesn’t want her grandparents to have to pay for her school and she loves it when sponsors come visit their sponsor children. She says that would make her sooo happy to know that someone in the states is praying for her and her family. Her favorite subject is Kreyol and when she grows up she wants to be a “big doctor, so I can take care of people who are sick.” (When we first posted Roseberline, we thought her mother said her name was “Rosebernite Ariste.” However, her mother is deaf and it is hard to understand her. We discovered later that her name is Roseberline.)
