Bethsaida is a smart fifteen year old from the village of Plachal near Galette Chambon. She lives with her parents, two sisters, and one brother. Her parents do not have a steady source of income. They try to sharecrop on a local farm, but the lack of rain makes it difficult to make a living. Her favorite subject in school is experimental science. When she grows up she wants to become a nurse or a lab technician. She loves to play soccer in her free time as well as eat and study her lessons. She absolutely LOVES school and she would love to be able to go to school without worrying about whether or not her parents can afford to pay for it.
