Denson is a bright twelve year old from Galette Chambon who lives with his mother and father, two brothers, and one sister. His parents do not have a source of income other than crop sharing in a garden for a local farmer. In his spare time, Denson likes to play with is friends, eat, and go to church with his family. His favorite subject in school is math. Although Denson’s parents did find a way to pay for his school by selling a goat, they could not afford to buy him a uniform or books, so he wears this green shirt to school every day and he borrows old books from friends to study. He would love to have a sponsor so his parents don’t have to struggle to pay for his school and so that he can have a uniform and books like the rest of the kids. When he grows up, he wants to be the lawyer because he knows that it takes a lot of school to become a lawyer and he loves school.
