Islander is a fun ten year old little girl with lots of energy. She lives in the village of Galette Chambon with her parents, and two sisters. Both of her parents are farmers who share crop on a big farm in Galette Chambon. Her favorite things to do are study, play with her friends, eat, go to church, and help her mother clean house. Her favorite subject is mathematics. When she grows up, she wants to become a doctor because there are not enough good doctors in Haiti. She loves her village because God sent BGM to come to the village to help people. Now people are not so sad anymore. They have hope because they know they can go to school and the kids are eating food every day. People are happier. She says thank you God for changing her village.
