Estephanie is a lively seven year old who has a personality that just won’t quit. She came to Hope Center to get her picture made for the program wearing a hand-me-down uniform shirt and a pink skirt and she didn’t care one bit that she was different from the others in their brand new uniforms. She was just happy to be there and hoping for a new sponsor. Estephanie lives with her mother, father and brother in Galette Chambon. Her parents have no constant source of income, so they have not been able to send her to school. Pastor Johel allowed her to start school this year for the first time with hopes of finding a sponsor. She says her favorite things to do are study, wash dishes and clothes, and eat. She thinks that her favorite subject is going to be mathematics because she loves to count things. She says that when she grows up she wants to be a nurse.
