Woodson is an eighteen year old from the small village of Dal Gros near Galette Chambon and he lives with his parents, one sister, and one brother. (The picture above is from when he was first sponsored in 2017. He has updates below) His parents do not have steady work to support their family. Sometimes they are able to work as share croppers for local farmers and they depend on a cousin who lives in Santo Domingo to send them money when they can’t find work. Woodson knows how important school is and he wants so badly to be able to go to school like his friends. He hopes that one day he can learn how to teach too and teach the kids in his village in school. He thinks he would be a good grammar teacher. Every day he prays he finds a sponsor so that he can pursue his dreams of becoming a teacher.
