Sona is a beautiful twelve-year-old young lady from the small village of Bra-Chandèl near Galette Chambon. She recently had to change schools and move to the village of Ti Source to live with some cousins because she and her family lost their home during Hurricane Matthew and they have no way of rebuilding. She and her brother and mother moved in December and Director Salomon agreed to let her to go his school without a sponsor because her family needed help. Sona has not only been praying for a sponsor, but she also prays that one day God will provide her family with a house of their own. Her favorite subject is French and when she grows up she wants to become a nurse.
