Billy is a sharp sixteen year old young man with plans of being a teacher one day. He lives in Galette Chambon with his parents, one sister, and one brother. His father is a member of the local committee of leaders of Galette Chambon. His name is Dino and he often helps in the Hope Center clinic. Billy worked this past summer in the Haitian work program that BGM had where teams came and gave young Haitians part time jobs for a few weeks to help with various projects. Billy loved doing that because he got to practice his English, meet many Americans, and help people in his village too. Billy’s favorite subject in school is History and when he grows up he wants to teach Social Sciences and English. He wants to thank BGM and every American that is participating in the sponsorship program because it is changing education in his village.
