Chandrine Erius is a sweet seventeen year old in the 7th grade who lives in a village near Galette Chambon with her parents, two sisters and four brothers. Her parents work very hard as farmers. This is very hard, inconsistent work that doesn’t always bring in a steady income. All of the family has to chip in to make life work, including Chandrine. She loves to study English in school and wants to become a nurse when she finishes high school. When asked what she loves about her village, she replied, “I would love to see my country changed!” Chandrine loves her people and wants to make a difference in her community.
